World’s richest people: Gautam Adani slips to 4

Billionaire Gautam Adani is, for now, not among the three wealthiest individuals in the world, as he slipped to the fourth spot on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, a daily ranking of the world’s richest people.

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is the now the third wealthiest person, while the top two of Bernard Arnault (Louis Vitton) and Elon Musk (Tesla, SpaceX, Twitter) remained unchanged on January 24. Reliance Group chairman Mukesh Ambani, too, slipped, going down by a spot, and his current net worth is the twelfth highest in the world, reports Hindustan Times .

Adani, on the other hand, saw his net worth decline by $872 million in the last 24 hours, and he has lost $683 million since January 24, 2022; the corresponding figures for Ambani are $457 million and $2.38 billion, respectively.
