Special flights between Bangladesh and India will resume from August 22 as part of the air bubble agreement, Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh said in a statement on Tuesday.
It also said that passengers who have completed their Covid-19 vaccination will be able to avail home quarantine, while non-vaccinated passengers will be put under 14-day institutional quarantine.
According to the statement, diplomats, students and patients seeking medical help will be able to travel via the special flights to India.
Meanwhile, Biman Bangladesh announced resuming flights to India from August 22.
The national flag carrier initially plans to operate two flights per week, Sunday and Wednesday, on the Dhaka-Delhi-Dhaka route and two flights, on Sunday and Tuesday, on Dhaka-Kolkata-Dhaka route.
