The project styled ‘Climate Smart Agriculture and Water Management Project” will play a vital role for environment-friendly fish production, combating the challenges of climate changes.
The project will be implemented at 29 upazilas in 18 districts under eight divisions across Bangladesh that have already attained self-sufficiency in fish production.
The project, which aims to expand the supply chain as well as networks of fish markets across the country, will also help increase the involvement of the stakeholders in this sector.

Besides, the ECNEC is likely to approve a project styled ‘Construction of Kewatkhali Bridge in Mymensingh’ over Brahmaputra river.
The Road Transport and Bridges Ministry has taken the project worth Tk 3,263063 crore to construct a 6.2 km four lane road which will connect northern districts of the country.
