Bangladesh logs 7 Covid deaths

Bangladesh reported seven coronavirus-related deaths and 306 cases in a 24-hour period till 8am on Wednesday.

The positivity rate rose to 1.53 per cent from Tuesday’s 1.44 per cent.

With this, the daily infection rate in the country remained below 5 per cent for more than five weeks.

In Bangladesh, the daily positivity rate reached its peak of 32.55 per cent on July 24this year.

The overall caseload now stands at 15,68,563 and the total fatalities at 27,841 according to a DGHS press release.
