The next phase of Bangladesh’s development will depend largely on steady and strong industrial growth, and the Industrial Police needs to play a key role in maintaining a peaceful atmosphere.
“Since its inception, the Industrial Police has been playing a crucial role in maintaining law and order in the country’s industrial hubs,” BGMEA President Faruque Hassan said at an event marking the 11th founding anniversary of Industrial Police, held at the Dhaka Industrial Police-1 office premises in Ashulia on Saturday.
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan, Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun, and State Minister for Disaster Management and Relief Md Enamur Rahman also took part in it.
Speaking at the event, presided over by police chief Benazir Ahmed, Faruque expressed his gratitude to the Industrial Police for providing support and cooperation to the RMG industry by maintaining law and order, and ensuring a peaceful atmosphere.
