TCB commodity sale starts today

The Trade Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) will start the sale of essential commodities at a lower rate all over the country from today.

Till July 5, edible oil, sugar and lentil pulses will be sold through family cards to one crore families across the country, TCB said in a statement on Tuesday.

However, sale in Sylhet division will be closed for the time being. Besides, sale in Madaripur, Shariatpur, Gopalganj and Munshiganj will start from June 26.

This time, for every family card, TCB will sell 2 litres of oil at the current price of Tk 110, 2 kg of sugar at Tk 55 and 2 kg of lentil pulses at Tk 75.

These essential commodities are to be sold on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.

TCB has completed all necessary preparations to start the sale. TCB cards have also been distributed among the recipients across the country.
