BSCIC 8-day fair for entrepreneurs underway

Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) has organised an eight-day fair to help the cottage, micro small and medium enterprises (CMSMEs) to exhibit, sell and promote their products.

The fair started on Sunday and will continue till July 5, except Friday and Saturday, at the premises of BSCIC Bhaban, which is currently its Dhaka District Office, in the Motijheel area of Dhaka city.

The entrepreneurs are exhibiting leather goods, jute products, honey, handicraft and boutiques to attract customers. Anyone can visit the fair from 10am to 8pm every day and buy directly or pre-book items from the 47 stalls set up by the entrepreneurs.

The fair was inaugurated by BSCIC Chairman Md Mahbubor Rahman on Sunday. Before the opening ceremony, BSCIC also organised a seminar on marketing and exporting the products of CMSMEs.
