Gaming platform Hasina and Friends to be launched today

The ICT Division is going to launch a gaming platform, “Hasina and Friends”, on Wednesday with an aim to enable users to learn about the environment, health, education and connectivity.

The platform will be unveiled marking the 76th birthday of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, according to a statement from the ICT Division.

The website has been developed targeting three age groups namely 6-9 years, 9-12 years, and 12-16 years. It is divided into four core subjects, namely environment, health, education, and connectivity.

The platform contains 32 interactive stories and 12 games, biographies of Sheikh Hasina and Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, and information on each of the eight divisions of Bangladesh.

This web-based game will provide the opportunity to learn about the development of Bangladesh through interactive stories and games.

Through games and stories, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will teach children the values that make a good person and a good citizen: dedication, social justice, gender equality, education, innovation, humanity, perseverance, humility, self-sacrifice, self-confidence, resilience, duties to society, respect, curiosity, service, and optimism.

There will be specialised stories and games for each category.

Golden Harvest InfoTech Ltd, a multi-disciplinary outsourcing service provider, developed the gaming platform.
