Guardian Life Insurance Limited (GLIL) has launched a digital insurance scheme to facilitate cancer treatment for the first time in the country.
GLIL, a popular compliant insurance company in fourth generation, inaugurated the new insurance policy at a programme at the National Press Club on Monday.
Presiding over the inaugural ceremony, GLIL Chief Executive Officer Sheikh Rakibul Karim said that the annual premium of this insurance starts from Tk 150 and the customer will be given up to Tk 20 lakh insurance benefit under the policy if he is diagnosed with cancer in the future.
Besides, if the cancer is detected at the early stage of the policyholder, the insurance premium will be waived for the next three years, he added.
