CMSF teams up with SBC to offer insurance benefits to investors

To protect investors, Capital Market Stabilization Fund (CMSF) intends to offer insurance benefits to them through a partnership with Sadharan Bima Corporation (SBC).

In line with this, a discussion session titled “CMSF-SBC Brainstorming Session on Investors’ Protection Framework” was held recently at the management office of Capital Market Stabilization Fund (CMSF) in view of Insurance Day on March 1, read a press release.

The discussion was chaired by CMSF Chairman Md Najibur Rahman, former chief secretary to the prime minister, while Syed Belal Hossain, managing director, SBC was present as the guest of honour. Dr Nahid Hossain, joint secretary, Financial Institutions Department (FID) was also present at the discussion.

Besides, CMSF’s Board of Governors (BOG) members, committee chairman, and members including Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), and Central Depository Bangladesh Limited (CDBL) were also present and gave their valuable opinions.
