16th Dhaka Motor Show starts Mar 16

The 16th edition of the country’s biggest automobile exposition Dhaka Motor Show 2023 will be held at Bangabandhu Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Center (BBCFEC) at Purbachal from March 16 to 18.

Alongside the Dhaka Motor Show, the 7th Dhaka Bike Show, the 6th Dhaka Auto Parts Show, and the 5th Dhaka Commercial Automotive Show will also take place simultaneously at the venue, said the organisers.

CEMS-Global USA in association with CEMS Bangladesh is hosting the show.

At a media briefing at the National Press Club in Dhaka on Sunday CEMS Global USA and Asia Pacific Group President Meherun N Islam said Dhaka Motor Show is a one-stop platform for automobile manufacturers and enthusiast buyers and sellers.

Around 300 exhibitors, many brands from 15 countries including Germany, Italy, France, the US, Japan, China, India, and Malaysia will be participating at the motor show, she said.

More than 25 brands from India will participate in the show for creating their market in the automobile sector of Bangladesh, she added.

This motor show will play a very vital role in the automobile sector of Bangladesh and increase commercial vehicle production and market extension around the globe.

The Dhaka Bike Show is the only international exhibition of motorcycles, scooters, bicycles, light electric vehicles, and accessories, which is playing a role in expanding the market for related products.

The Dhaka Auto Parts Show is Bangladesh’s single largest international car and auto component exhibition which is an excellent platform for the globally recognised auto-component business to present the latest models of auto components and automobile technology.

Md SS Sarwar, group CEO of CEMS Global USA and Asia-Pacific, Md Tanveer Qamrul Islam, executive director of CEMS Global, and Abhishek Das, director of international marketing at CEMS Global, also attended the press conference.
