In a major reshuffle in state-owned banks and financial institutions, 21 general managers have been promoted to the post of deputy managing directors.
The Financial Institutions Division of the Ministry of Finance Monday issued a gazette notification in this regard, signed by its Deputy Secretary Mohammed Shafiul Alam.
The 21 promoted were GMs at six institutions: Basic Bank Limited, Rupali Bank Limited, Janata Bank Limited, Agrani Bank Limited, Bangladesh Krishi Bank and Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation.
They will be working as DMDs at 10 state-run banks and two financial institutions: Sonali Bank Limited, Basic Bank Limited, Rupali Bank Limited, Janata Bank Limited, Agrani Bank Limited, Bangladesh Krishi Bank, Palli Sanchay Bank, Probashi Kallyan Bank, Bangladesh Development Bank Limited, Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank (Rakub), Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation and Ansar-VDP Unnayan Bank (AVUB).
