Bangladesh Bank relaxes age limit for baking sector job-seekers

Bangladesh Bank on Wednesday relaxed the maximum age limit for taking up banking sector jobs due to the recruitment process being hit during the coronavirus pandemic.

According to a notice from the central bank, candidates who were aged 30 on March 25, 2020, can take part in the recruitment process as of June 30, 2023.

In the notice, Bangladesh Bank also directed banks to calculate the highest age of the applicants considering March 25, 2020, as the cut-off date.
