The Bangladesh Bank has instructed its current Authorised Dealers, branch, liaison, representative officesto issue No Objection Certificate without any delay in case of change of nominated ADs, branch, liaison, representative offices of foreign companies.
BB on Sunday issued a circular in this regard signed by Safiqur Rahman, Deputy General Manager of the Foreign Exchange Policy Department of the central bank.
The central bank issued the instruction as some ADs are making undue delay to issue an NOC.
The ADs of branch, liaison, representative offices are advisedto issue NOC without any delay pending regulatory issues, the circular said.
The instructions must be followed by the Authorised Dealers and their constituents, Money Changers in transactions relating to foreign exchange, according to a BB previous circular.
