The Bangladesh Bank has requested people from all walks of life not to be misled by a notice now circulating on social media about getting a big loan from the banking regulator.
The central bank said this in an urgent notice published on its website on Wednesday.
It said a notice on various social media platforms using the photograph of the governor of the Bangladesh Bank and its monogram was offering big loans at the lowest interest rate in the fastest and easiest process.
The notice is false, fabricated, baseless, and nothing but fraudulence, the central bank said.
“All are requested not to be misled about the issue,” it added.
