BB to issue new note of Tk 50

Bangladesh Bank (BB) is going to issue new notes of Tk 50 with the signature of Governor Abdur Rouf Talukder.

The new note will be issued from the central bank headquarters in Dhaka on Sunday, said a press release.

The colour, shape, design and all security features of the newly-printed notes will remain unchanged as before. Apart from the newly printed notes, other notes of Tk 50 denomination currently in circulation will also remain in circulation as valid notes.
