BB warns jobseekers of FB scammers

A certain quarter is spreading misinformation on social network platforms regarding the Bangladesh Bank’s online recruitment process, and the regulator has warned potential jobseekers not to fall victims to this scam.

Adding that the scammers are using the central bank logo in Facebook groups and users, the regulator iterated that it has no such presence in social media space, read a press release issued on Sunday.

The central bank cannot be held liable for anyone suffering damage, inconvenience or financial losses for interacting with such Facebook groups or users.
