Don’t involve directors in procurement related activities: BB to banks

The Bangladesh Bank has asked all the banks across the country not to involve its directors in procurement related activities.

The central bank on Wednesday issued a notice in this regard.  

Earlier, Bangladesh Bank issued a notice saying that some bank directors are involved in the purchase-procurement of essential products and services, which is a violation of Bank companies’ act-1991.
