The IDLC Investments Limited has won Finance Asia Country Awards in ‘Best Investment Bank in Bangladesh’ category for the year 2021.
The Hong Kong-based publication reporting on Asia’s financial and capital markets awarded the financial institution for its superior financial performance and innovative solutions to local and international clients, said a press release on Thursday.
Applauding this achievement, IDLC in its press release said, “Our trendsetting initiatives, strong performance in the market along with compliance and setting examples of best practices have been repeatedly recognised in the local and international arena. Winning of the Finance Asia award is also another testament to that.’’
IDLC Investments has been operating in the country’s capital market for over two decades. It has been consistently providing tailor-made services and innovative solutions to clients in order to meet their strategic needs since its inception, read the press release.
Despite the pandemic since last year, IDLC Investments worked as the issue manager for the biggest-ever IPO in Bangladesh, said the press release.
The company acted as trustee of the first-ever Basel III compliant contingent convertible perpetual bond in the country. It also completed a merger and acquisition transaction in the power sector, the release added.
