State-owned Rupali Bank Limited paid homage to the martyrs of the historic Language Movement on the occasion of ‘Shaheed Dibash’ (Martyrs' Day) and the International Mother Language Day on Monday.
Chairman Kazi Sanaul Hoq along with Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Md Obayed Ullah Al Masud placed a wreath at the Central Shaheed Minar in Dhaka on behalf of the bank, a press release said.
Deputy managing directors Mohammad Jahangir, Md Shawkat Ali Khan, and Khan Iqubal Hossain, among others, were also present on the occasion, it added.
