Selim RF Hussain, incumbent managing director and chief executive officer of BRAC Bank Ltd, has been reappointed to lead the financial institution until 2026.
Hussain’s reappointment by the chairman and the board of directors of the bank, has also been approved by the central bank, according to a press release.
The reappointment has been made effective from November.
Hussain began his journey at the bank from November 2015 and has since served two three-year terms with the financial institution, read the release.
During his six-year tenure, Hussain has led the BRAC Bank from mid-table to the pinnacle of the local banking industry and has firmly established the bank as a leading financial institution in the country, it added.
