State-owned Sonali Bank Limited paid tribute to the martyrs of the historic Language Movement on the occasion of ‘Shaheed Dibash’ (Martyrs' Day) and the International Mother Language Day on Monday.
Deputy Managing Director Md Mazibur Rahman placed a wreath at the Central Shaheed Minar in the capital on behalf of the bank, a press release said.
Among others, General Manager Babul Md Alam, Deputy General Manager Md Moniruzzaman and Md Rezwanul Islam, executives, officers and staff of the bank were present on the occasion, it added.
