Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) Bangladesh has recently appointed Samuel Liew as Corridor Banker for China Corridor Business to strengthen the China Trade and Investment (CTI) desk in Bangladesh, said a press release.
The authorities concerned have appointed Samuel for creating ways to better serve the clients.
The Standard Chartered Bank also actively promotes Bangladesh as an investment destination through its flagship event ‘Bangladesh Investment Summit, the release said.
Naser Ezaz Bijoy, Chief Executive Officer at Standard Chartered Bangladesh said, “Facilitating trade and investment and the flow of ideas across the vital China-Bangladesh Corridor, which contributes to the largest share of Bangladesh’s international trade and one of the largest sources of FDI, will facilitate being an important driver of Bangladesh’s growth journey,” he said.
