With the lovable Find N2, Oppo expands its presence in the field of attractive tiny phones. The first Find N was the thinnest, lightest, and most compact vertically foldable phone available. However, Oppo managed to enhance the design of the Find N2 even further with no apparent hinge gap. The latest foldable device debuted in China in December 2022, with an even smaller, quicker, and far less noticeable display crease than its predecessor. Let’s find out the specs, pros, cons, and price of OPPO Find N2.
The Find N2 maintains the portability (132.2 x 140.5 x 7.4mm) that was one of its most notable selling points just like its predecessor. It is not a behemoth like the Fold series manufactured by Samsung; rather, Oppo’s version has a footprint that is nearly more pocket- and palm-friendly.
It is much shorter than most other phones of similar design and features a front with a larger aspect ratio. This implies that while using the device with one hand, you will not have to extend as far with your thumb to reach the screen’s margins. Additionally, it fits in a pocket without sticking out the top. This year, its weight also makes it quite desirable.
In fact, according to Oppo, this is the lightest foldable smartphone of its kind ever released. At 233 grams for the lightest variant, it is much lighter than the most recent Z Fold and even lighter than the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
In simple words, you do not experience the same sensation of weight or mass as you do with the majority of other horizontally folding phones. To do this, Oppo used carbon fiber in the hinge and the flexible underneath of the display, removing heavy components and replacing them with lighter, more robust ones.
OPPO Find N2 is available in Coral Orange, Pearly White, and Submariner Black colors.
The 7.1” primary display has all the latest high-quality screen features, including a high resolution of 1920 x 1792, a dynamic refresh rate of 1Hz-120Hz depending on the material being shown, a broad color gamut coverage, HDR10 certification, and a high peak brightness of 1550 nits.
The 5.54” Oppo is eager to note that, despite its lower size compared to the Z Fold 4’s 6.2-inch screen, the external display has a far wider aspect ratio and is much more pleasant to text on than the tall Samsung screen.
In addition, the 120Hz display’s max brightness is 1350 nits, as Oppo recognizes that you may use it for brief glances outdoors and on the move more often than the huge inside display.
There are also some potent cameras on board that have been modified by Hasselblad. These cameras include a 48MP ultra-wide camera that can also take macro shots, a 50 MP Sony IMX890 wide sensor camera, and a 32MP RGBW 2x telephoto camera that reduces noise for improved portraits and zoom capabilities.
This system would be fantastic for the vast majority of people given its lightning-fast performance and high-quality photographic output. The two front-facing cameras on each display are both 32 GB, and the quality of the photographs they produce is quite high.
It should not come as a surprise that Oppo has included its own MariSilicon X imaging processor. Similar to the Snapdragon chip that was used, this is not the greatest that can be obtained, most likely as a result of the lead periods required to build a gadget of this kind. It is reasonable to assume that the number of resources spent on producing foldable will expand in tandem with the rising demand for these products.
Under the hood of the Oppo Find N2 is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip. The 8 Gen 2 chipset is previously utilized in the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro, therefore the octa-core CPU is not from the newest version.
However, the Qualcomm CPU with the Adreno 730 GPU is now and will continue to be adequate for many months. Even more so, given that the Plus type installed here is renowned for being power-efficient and cool.
Even with a foldable device, you can and should game appropriately. No one will be surprised that neither the CPU nor the 16 GB RAM with its 512 GB internal UFS 3.1 ROM impedes the owner’s progress. There is also a slightly reduced-capacity version of the N2 with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage available for “smart spenders.” In light of the available options, it is doubtful if the absence of a microSD card slot is really a drawback.
Battery and Charging
Due to the fact that the phone comes with the company’s high-powered 67W SuperVOOC charger, the 4520 mAh battery can be fully charged in only 42 minutes, and it can be brought up to 37% in just 10 minutes.
The charging speed is not the quickest available, but it is noticeably faster than Samsung’s. On the other hand, when it comes to ultrafast charging, we have been spoiled by Oppo and OnePlus.
Price of Oppo Find N2 in Bangladesh
The cost of the handheld device is listed as 19,999 INR, equivalent to 25, 382 TK. However, the official price of Oppo Find N2 in Bangladesh may vary due to tax and other issues.
Despite its slim dimensions and superb design, the Oppo Find N2 is relatively inexpensive for a foldable phone.
Oppo does not charge more for the new Flexion Hinge, which provides an even thinner and lighter body, as well as for the almost indiscernible crease, or for the quicker CPU and enhanced camera, not to mention the incredible screen quality.
In fact, the OPPO Find N2 is now the best phone with a vertically folding display, and not only in terms of pricing. The primary competition, the more costly Galaxy Z Fold 4, is both bulkier and less ergonomic to operate, and less visually beautiful, with a hinge gap and main panel crease two generations below Oppo’s craftsmanship.
