Bashundhara Group distributes relief items in Bogura

Bashundhara Group, one of the leading business conglomerates of the country, distributed relief items to the helpless and poor people in Bogura recently.

The group distributed relief items to thousands of families in Sadar and Dupchanchia upazilas of Bogura district who have become affected by the lockdown enforced to curb the spread of coronavirus.

The Kaler Kantho, a reputed Bengali national daily of Bashundhara Group, provided relief through its social organisation Shuvasangha at Bogura Zilla School ground and Dupchanchia Darus Sunnah Dakhil Madrasa on Wednesday, said a press release.

With the initiative, the group began its efforts to distribute relief items in Bogura district and Rajshahi division during the prolonged pandemic. The group will distribute food aid to 4,000 families in Bogura district and 24,000 families in Rajshahi division in phases, Shuvasangha sources said.
