AB Bank, BB sign deal for automated challan

To facilitate payments of various fees in all the branches through Automated Challan System, AB Bank has recently signed an agreement with the Bangladesh Bank.

The service will allow to deposit value added tax (Vat), tax, government fees and other payments. Under ACS, treasury invoices can be deposited through cash or through cheque at any AB Bank branches or through on-line.

Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank Ahmed Jamal and President & Managing Director of AB Bank Tarique Afzal formally inaugurated the service. Dr. Mohammad Hossain, Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Finance of Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and Senior Management of the Bank were also present during the inauguration.
