Sonargaon Univ holds syndicate meeting

The 32nd Syndicate Meeting of Sonargaon University (SU), one of the private universities in Bangladesh, was held recently.

Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic the meeting was held virtually. The Vice-Chancellor of the university Prof. Md. Abul Bashar, Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Shamim Ara Hassan and Treasurer Prof. Md. Al-Amin Molla were present at the syndicate meeting.

At the meeting, a member of the Academic Council nominated by the Vice-Chancellor, Shamim Mahbub Bhuiyan, Dean of the Facuty of Bussiness and Associate Proferssor Abul Kalam nominated by the Vice-Chancellor were present. Members nominated by the Board of Trustees are the member of the SU Trust and founder of the Sonargaon University, Engineer Abdul Aziz, General Secretary of the SU Trust Engineer Md. Abdul Alim, UGC nominated syndicate member, Professor Dr. Md. Nasir Uddin Munshi in the Department of Information Science and Library Management, Dhaka University and Sonargaon University Registrar S.M. Nurul Huda were also present at the meeting.
