Banglalink retains top spot as fastest network: Report

Ookla Speedtest Award has named Banglalink as the fastest mobile network in Bangladesh for the third consecutive time.

It has earned the top spot with a speed score of 17.12. With millions of results obtained through the Ookla Speedtest app each day, Ookla has the most accurate and comprehensive view of worldwide network performance, quality, and accessibility, said a press release.

As part of Banglalink’s objective to offer superior digital experiences to customers, Banglalink has acquired a total of 9.4 MHz spectrum during the last BTRC spectrum auction, and retained the top position among all private operators in the country in terms of spectrum per subscriber. The newly acquired spectrum, coupled with Banglalink's dual-carrier network, contributed to it being the country’s fastest mobile network, read the release.
