Brac provides aid to 500 families

Brac, the world’s largest non-governmental organisation, has provided food items to 2500 unprivileged people of 500 families in Cox’s Bazar. Brac distributed these items recently in Ukhia and Teknaf. Among the families, 235 were from Ukhia and 265 from Teknaf.

The programme was carried out in support with the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) and with the sponsorship of Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).

Area Director of Humanitarian Crisis Management Program’s (HCMP), Hasina Akter said, “From the very beginning Brac has been working for the development of unprivileged people and the legacy is still going on.”
