ICMAB observes SAFA Foundation Day

The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh organised a webinar on Sunday to observe the SAFA Foundation Day 2021.

The theme of the webinar was ‘Role of Professional Accountants in Post Pandemic Economic Recovery: Focus on Financial Market’.

State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Md. Shahriar Alam was present on the occasion as the chief guest while President of South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) and Past President of ICMAB AKM Delwer Hussain FCMA presided over the webinar.

Zia Ul Mustafa FCMA, Advisor, SAFA & President ICMA Pakistan and former President of SAFA, HM Hennayake Bandara, Vice President, SAFA were present as guest speakers at the programme. All the president of SAFA member bodies were also present at the event as panelists.

The President of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB), Abu Bakar Siddique FCMA, delivered the welcome speech and AKM Kamruzzaman FCMA, Treasurer, ICMA Bangladesh presented the paper as keynote speaker.

Md. Abdul Aziz FCMA, Council Member & Former President of ICMAB moderated the webinar.
