BASIC Bank announces loan recovery campaign

State owned BASIC Bank Limited announces September 2021 as the month of recovery of classified loans with the slogan ‘Paid loan timely and build a prosperous county’.

Anisur Rahman, Managing Director & CEO of BASIC Bank inaugurated the program at the main corporate branch in capital’s Motijheel on Tuesday, said a media release on Thursday.

In the first day of the campaign, cheques of Tk 100 crore were handed over to the MD & CEO by defaulted clients. Defaulted clients also made their commitment to regularize loans of Tk 200 crore at the program.

General Managers -- Ahmed Hossain, Ismail and Momenul Hoque were also present, among others, on the occasion.

Under this campaign, cash recovery is getting the highest priority. Moreover, all branches were given instructions to recover defaulted loans by following specific and effective plan of actions.

Additionally, the branches will arrange ‘Meet the Borrower’ meeting to exchange views with the customers, where MD & CEO, general managers and senior executives will be present to deliver instant decisions, it said.
