Uttara Group wins best taxpayer award

Uttara Motors Ltd. and Uttara Automobiles Ltd. have been honored as one of the top taxpayers in the manufacturing sector in the fiscal year 2020-21 organized by the Large Taxpayer Unit of the National Board of Revenue. Matiur Rahman, Chairman and Managing Director, Uttara Group of Companies, received special honors and accolades from Bangladesh Bank Governor Fazle Kabir, as one of the top income tax payers in the manufacturing sector for the financial year 2020-21, said a media release on Wednesday. Abu Hena Mohammad Rahmatul Munim, Senior Secretary, Internal Resources Department and Chairman National Board of Revenue, Alamgir Hossain, Member (National Policy) (Grade-1) and Mohammad Golam Nabi, Member (Tax Administration) were present on the occasion along with other distinguished guests.
