Pragati Insurance names 2 new directors

Syed Muhammad Jan and Tajwar M Awal have been selected as the directors of Pragati Insurance Limited in its 35th annual general meeting held recently, said a media release on Wednesday.

Syed Muhammad Jan completed his bachelor degree from Clark University, Massachusetts, in the United States.

He is the member of Bangladesh Metropolitan Chambers of Commerce and Industries, Dhaka Chambers of Commerce and Industries, American Chambers of Commerce, Australia-Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce, Switzerland-Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries.

Born in a renowned family of Feni, Tajwar M Awal got his bachelor and Master of Science degree from Suffolk University, Massachusetts, in the United States. He is the founding director of Bangladesh Petro Chemical and member of Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FBCCI), added the release.
