Private commercial Premier Bank Limited has been honored by National Board of Revenue as one of the highest taxpayers in banking sector for 2020-21 fiscal year. M Reazul Karim, Managing Director & CEO of the bank, received the letter of recognition from Bangladesh Bank Governor Fazle Kabir at a program held at a city hotel on Tuesday, said a news release on Wednesday. Abu Hena Md. Rahmatul Muneem, Chairman, NBR; Sayed Abul Hashem, Deputy Managing Director & CFO, the Premier Bank Limited; Alamgir Hossain, Member, (Tax Policy) and Mohammad Golam Nabi, Member, (Tax Administration and Human Resource Management) of the NBR and Iqbal Hossain, Commissioner (Tax), Large Taxpayers Unit along with high officials of Finance Ministry, NBR & different institutions were present on the occasion.
