Standard Bank inks deal with Bangladesh Bank 

Standard Bank Limited has signed an agreement with Bangladesh Bank to deposit treasury invoices on behalf of the government through automatic invoicing system. Bangladesh Bank General Manager Forkan Hossain and Standard Bank Managing Director and CEO Khondoker Rashed Maqsood signed the agreement on behalf of the respective sides at the central bank on Monday, said a media release on Tuesday. Ahmed Jamal, Deputy Governor was present as the chief guest while Nurun Nahar, Executive Director, Bangladesh Bank presided over at the signing ceremony. Standard Bank's CITO Sufi Tofail Ahmed, CFO and acting company secretary Ali Reza FCMA, CIPA and other senior officials of both the organizations were also present on the occasion.
