BGIC achieves AA+ rating in Long Term

Argus Credit Rating Services Limited has determined the credit rating of Bangladesh General Insurance Company Ltd. as ‘AA +’ rating in the Long Term and ‘ST-2’ in the Short Term.

The rating was determined in the light of the audited financial statements for the financial year ended December 31, 2020 and the unaudited financial statements up to June 30, 2021 and other relevant information, said a media release on Tuesday. The company Ltd. was listed as non-life insurance company on the stock exchanges of Bangladesh from 1989.
