Padma Bank relocates Tangail branch

Padma Bank has relocated its Tangail branch to new premises from 148, Dhaka Road to SR Plaza, Masjid Road in Tangail Municipality, with a view of providing modern digital banking services to a greater extent to its clients.

The bank’s Managing Director and CEO Ehsan Khasru inaugurated the relocated branch on Monday.

Tangail Municipality Mayor Sirajul Haque Alamgir was present at the inauguration ceremony as special guest.

Padma Bank Chief Operating Officer Zabed Amin, Head of Human Resources M Ahsan Ullah Khan, Cluster Head Selima Begum, Tangail Branch Manager Syed Nazmul Bari along with senior officials of other departments of the bank, local dignitaries and journalists were also present on the occasion.

Khasru, Managing Director and CEO of Padma Bank began his speech wishing the 75th birthday of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Expressing full confidence in the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in implementing Bangabandhu's development thinking and economic philosophy, Ehsan Khasru pledged to take Padma Bank forward.

The managing director of the bank thanked officers and employees of the bank who have kept the banking services operational as 'Front Fighters' despite the constant risk of being affected by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

On the occasion, Ehsan Khasru announced a special programme to build-up customer relationships through the bank's new "Marketing Associates’ concept. He instructed officials to focus on collecting deposits by gaining the trust of the customers.

The fourth-generation Padma Bank Limited has been providing modern banking services to its customers through 58 branches across the country.
