DIU, WARBE launch climate certification programme

The Dhaka International University (DIU) has reached a deal with WARBE Development Foundation to launch a certification programme on climate change, displacement and migration.

In this regard, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the two sides recently.

DIU registrar Professor Md Rofiqul Islam and WARBE Development Foundation Chairman Syed Saiful Haque signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations. 

Under the MoU, the DIU will facilitate the certification program titled “Certificate Course on Climate Change, Displacement and Migration”. 

DIU Vice Chancellor Dr Ganesh Chandra Saha, DIU Law Faculty Dean Professor Dr AWM Abdul Huq, DIU Assistant Professor Sunita Rani Biswas, WARBE Director Jasiya Khatoon, Economist Md Mazadul Hoque, training and communication specialist Md Riaz Uddin Khan, among others, were present at the deal signing ceremony.
