EBL offers its cardholders attractive discounts, propositions, EMI facilities (EBL ZIP) and bonus rewards (EBL SKYPOINTS for Classic and Gold tier credit cardholders and EBL SKYCOINS for premium credit cardholders) throughout the year. During the pandemic, the bank emphasised the need for home delivery, medical assistance, essential products etc. and arranged campaigns to focus on digital modes of payment to promote social distancing and customer safety. In addition to offering customers different variants of contactless credit cards for zero contact payment facilities, EBL continued its drive towards establishing safe and fast payment mediums through the introduction of QR-based transactions in collaboration with Visa. In 2020, EBL also became one of the leading banks in Bangladesh to introduce Inward Remittance Services for cardholders in collaboration with Visa.
