The final round and prize giving ceremony of ‘DEVTHON 2.0’ was held at Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) on Monday.
The ‘DEVTHON 2.0’ was organised by BUP Development Leaders’ Club under the supervision of the Department of Development Studies, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences which started on October 6.
It was organised with the aim of developing innovative thinking among the students to play a role in the sustainable development of Bangladesh, said a media release on Tuesday.
Thirty-two teams of different reputed university participated in the competition and six teams qualified for final round.
In the final round, team VACCINATED POLICY from BUP, Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET) and Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) became the champion while TEAM ELDER WAND from North South University (NSU) became the 1st runner up and DEVCREW from BUP became the 2nd runner up.
BUP Vice Chancellor Major General Md Moshfequr Rahman was present as the chief guest and distributed the prize among the winners.
