Mashrafe Bin Mortaza signs deal with JMI Hospital Requisite Manufacturing Ltd, to establish a well-equipped specialized hospital for Kidney patients in Narail – Press release

Narail Express Foundation, a charity initiative by former Bangladesh skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, signs a deal with JMI Hospital Requisite Manufacturing Ltd, to establish a well-equipped dialysis center for Kidney patients in Narail.

Mashrafe Bin Mortaza and JMI Group Managing Director Md Abdur Razzak inked the agreement on Saturday, said a Press release

Under the deal, a specialized kidney dialysis center will be set up in Narail with state-of the art technologies and facilities.

The JMI Group will provide technical support with Japanese technologies.

On the other hand, the Narail Express Foundation will select a suitable spot for the hospital and ensure its smooth operation and public-friendly medical services.

At the deal signing ceremony, Mashrafe said his district is lagging behind in availing quality medical service due to lack of well-equipped medical center.

The low-income people are suffering the most as they, in most of the cases, cannot afford going to other districts and receiving medical services there.

Those who are capable of bearing transport expenses are also being deprived of quality medical services as they are reluctant to move to other districts due to on-road hazards, he added.

He expressed optimism that the hospital would mitigate the kidney patients’ misery in the district.

Meanwhile, JMI Group MD Abdur Razzak said they have a plan to establish dialysis centers across the country to ensure quality treatment to the Kidney patients.

The initiative is a part of the plan, he said, adding that his company already set up a similar facility at a Dhaka hospital while another is in the pipeline.
