RFL to donate 500 tube wells in remote villages

The RFL Group is set to donate over 500 tube wells in 40 villages of remote areas across the country marking the 40th anniversary of RFL tube wells.

Aiming to ensure pure drinking water in rural areas, top 10 tube well distributors of RFL group were awarded at a programme in the city while celebrating the 40th anniversary on Tuesday.

The RFL tube well, is the first product of country’s leading business conglomerate RFL Group that started its journey in 1980 to ensure pure water as well as affordable irrigation for improvement of rural Bangladesh.

Speaking at the event, Managing Director of the company RN Paul said RFL tube well was launched when people were suffering from various water borne diseases due to lack of pure drinking water.

Paul added, “We have come to the present situation as consumers welcomed us. So, we have responsibility to the country and its people. As part of this responsibility, we have been conducting various CSR activities.”

Business In-charge of RFL tubewell Abdul Kuddus Miah said, “Our company has been serving the country for the last 40th years with affordable prices and excellent quality.”

Talking to The Business Post, Assistant General Manager (Marketing) of RFL Tube Shariful Islam said they will start their activities from December and complete by March 2022.

“We will distribute the tube wells in Kurigram, Rangpur, Sirajganj, Sherpur, Jamalpur, Patuakhali, Satkhira, Sunamganj and Sylhet,” he added.
