Shippers’ Council holds 9th board meeting

Shippers’ Council of Bangladesh (SCB), the national association of shippers including Shipping Agents, Freight Forwarders, C&F Agents and exporters, held the 9th meeting of its board of directors on Tuesday.

The meeting was held at the SCB office in the capital’s Dhanmondi area under the chairmanship of Md Rezaul Karim, read a press release.

At the meeting, the directors approved the minutes of the previous meeting, accounts statement and fixed the date, time and venue of 40th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of SCB.  Besides, they approved the council’s budget, the audit report of 2020-2021, and new membership, added the release.

Senior Vice Chairman Md Ariful Ahsan, Vice Chairman Md Munir Hossain and Directors Arzu Rahman Bhuiyan, AKM Aminul Mannan (Khokon), Syed Md Bakhtiar, Md Nurussafa Babu, Ziaul Islam, Ganesh Chandra Saha and Ataur Rahman Khan also attended the meeting.
