Walton T20 Tournament begins tomorrow

The seventh edition of the corporate T20 cricket tournament, sponsored by Walton, is going to start on Friday with the participation of 16 teams.

Organised by TK Sports Management, the 17-day tournament will be held at City Club ground located in Mirpur of the capital, said a press release on Wednesday.

Earlier on Monday night, the tournament logo, jersey and trophy were unveiled at an event in the capital where Walton Senior Deputy Operative Director Robiul Islam Milton was present as chief guest. Former cricketer Tareq Aziz, also the chairman of TK Sports Management, was present at the event.

Some 34 matches will be played during weekly holidays, read the release.
