Canadian University observes investiture ceremony

The Cultural Club of Canadian University of Bangladesh (CUB) has organised an investiture ceremony to welcome the newly selected executive committee members on November 17.

Senior Advisor to the Board of Trustees of the university HM Jahirul Haque was present as the chief guest, said a media statement on Sunday.

The event was supervised by Walid Bin Kader, Director, Office of Student Affairs and Tahsin Binta Anis, Advisor of Cultural Club of Canadian University of Bangladesh.

During pandemic situation, Cultural Club arranged a ‘Virtual Talent Hunt’ to keep the students enthusiastic and vibrant even in such difficult time. The talented winners of that event were awarded with prizes in this event. The ceremony was followed by a cultural event where students actively and wholeheartedly participated.

After a long period of home quarantine this programme was like a breath of fresh air for the students and they participated in the event enthusiastically, it added.
