BRAC Bank has received the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) Certification, a rigorous and internationally recognized security standard, showing its unassailable capability for data security.
The certification proves the bank’s strong commitment to safeguarding information and interests of the customers, the bank said in a press release on Monday.
The certification process involves rigorous testing and compliance of systems and technology infrastructure and getting them aligned with international best practices.
“This certification means BRAC Bank is a place where customer information is safe and secured leaving no vulnerability to data theft and loss,” the release mentioned.
BRAC Bank organized a ceremony to celebrate the certification and recognize the officials for their contribution to achieving the certification.
Managing Director and CEO Selim RF Hussain, Deputy Managing Director and COO Sabbir Hossain, Head of Information Security BM Zahid-Ul Haque and senior officials were present at the event on November 4.
