Inter-college prize giving ceremony held at PU

A prize giving ceremony of ‘Inter-college Quiz Contest’ was held at Presidency University (PU) on Monday.

The contest was organised by the Department of English in collaboration with the Cultural Club of Presidency University, said a media release.

PU vice chancellor (acting) professor Mohammed Muniruzzaman graced the occasion as the chief guest while associate Prof Habibullah, chairman of the Department of English, presided over the session.

University advisor Maj Gen Kazi Ashfaq Ahmed (Retd) was present as the special guest at the programme.

Presidency University organised the event to celebrate the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on March 9, 2020. Students from 30 different colleges participated in the competition.
