MTB launches biometric login facility on app

The Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) has incorporated biometric login facility in its smart banking application.

Thanks to the development, MTB smart banking app is now more secure. Users are now able to login the app in a faster way using FaceID or TouchID, said a press release on Sunday.

MTB Managing Director and CEO Syed Mahbubur Rahman recently inaugurated the new facility at a function held at the bank’s corporate head office in Dhaka.

Syed Rafiqul Haq, additional managing director and chief business officer of the bank, Goutam Prosad Das, its deputy managing director and GHOICC, Md Khalid Mahmood Khan, deputy managing director at Corporate and

Commercial Business, Md Shafquat Hossain, head of SME and Retail Banking, Khalid Hossin, acting head of Digital Banking Division, and Azam Khan, head of Communications

Department, along with other senior officials, also attended the launching ceremony virtually.
