Sarwar Jahan made new GM of Sony Smart

Sarwar Jahan Chowdhury has joined as General Manager (GM) of Smart Technology (BD) Ltd.

He will work for the business expansion of Sony electronics products and other related services under the brand name Sony Smart, said a media statement. Smart Technology Managing Director Zahirul Islam welcomed Sarwar Jahan Chowdhury to the Smart Group family on Tuesday.

Company’s Director Zafor Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director SM Mohibul Hasan, Human Resource Department General Manager AKM Shafiq Ul Haque and Assistant General Manager (Intel & Zebra) Ashraf Hossain were present, among others.

Before joining Smart Technology, Sarwar Jahan was employed as Senior National Sales Manager at Electro Mart Ltd. He also worked at various important positions in Sony for twenty years.

His career started with ACI Consumers Brands, where he had received year’s best employee just after joining.

Recently Japanese leading technological product manufacturing company Sony Corporation has announced the Smart Technology (BD) Ltd as their new official distributor in Bangladesh.

Therefore, Smart Technology is now able to sell all the electronic products and relevant services of Sony across the country, added the statement.
