Workshop on Research Capacity Building held at IUB

The School of Environment and Life Sciences (SELS) at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) organised a two-day technical skill development workshop titled “Research Capacity Building” at IUB on December 1-2 as part of a programme involving collaboration between industry and academia.

The workshop was sponsored by pharmaceutical company Radiant Pharmaceuticals Ltd, said the university in a statement.

A large number of IUB students actively participated in the workshop. They were offered training and lectures in research methodologies as well as importance of research ethics and biosafety issues by experts from various organisations including icddr,b, WHO, IUB and cBLAST.
